Winter News 2024: Celebrating a Year of Tap and Looking Forward to 2025

As the year draws to a close, we’re delighted to share our Winter News 2024. 

From the success of Tapathon 2024 to exciting upcoming events, there’s so much to celebrate and look forward to as we step into the new year!

🎉 Tapathon 2024: A Huge Success!

On 17th November, we joined a local tap group in Kent to take part in Tapathon 2024, raising an amazing £130 for BBC Children in Need! 💛

We are so proud to have contributed to such a worthy cause, and we’re eagerly waiting to hear if we helped break the world record for the largest tap routine performed simultaneously across the UK.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, supported, or donated – your energy and enthusiasm made it a day to remember! 💃👯‍♂️

📣 Instructor Spotlight: Diane Hampstead

Many of you know Diane Hampstead as a talented tap instructor, but did you know she’s also an artist? Diane’s mini exhibition has just opened at Muphoria, a pop/art/music gallery located on Berwick Street in Soho.

1. JS Academy’s ‘Day of Dance’ – 1st December 2024

Join Diane Hampstead for a fabulous Day of Dance in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, hosted by JS Academy. With three workshops to choose from, there’s something for everyone, no matter your experience level. Come along for a day of fun and learning!

2. TapUK 2025 – 16th-19th May 2025

Get ready for the highlight of the year! TapUK 2025 promises to be unforgettable, with a fantastic line-up of instructors already confirmed:
